Warranty

Our legal obligation is to deliver the ordered goods without defects. However, if the product you receive has hidden defects or gets damaged during use due to reasons not attributable to you, you may take advantage of the warranty right, provided that a warranty was granted, for example, by the manufacturer, importer, or seller. The warranty conditions should have been specified in the warranty document that you received with the goods and directly in the product offer, the defect that occurred is covered by the warranty, and the warranty period has not yet expired. The basis for accepting the warranty claim is a proof of purchase in the form of a receipt or invoice.

Regardless, if after making a purchase you find that the received goods are damaged, do not function correctly, or you notice any other non-compliance of the goods with the contract, and you purchased the goods as a consumer, you have the right to make a complaint. As a rule, the defective goods should be returned to the seller to allow them to examine the validity of the complaint. If in doubt, contact us to determine the next steps.

For your complaint to be processed quickly and efficiently, you should meet the following conditions:

TERMS OF WARRANTY:

The warranty is provided by ASENSJA SPÓŁKA Z OGRANICZONĄ ODPOWIEDZIALNOŚCIĄ Elektoralna 13/121, 00-137 Warsaw, REGON: 522948491, NIP: 5252921156, KRS Number: 0000989209, registered in the DISTRICT COURT FOR THE CAPITAL CITY OF WARSAW IN WARSAW, XII ECONOMIC DEPARTMENT OF THE NATIONAL COURT REGISTER.

The warranty period ranges from 6 months to 1 year from the date of purchase (details are provided below). The warranty is valid exclusively within the territory of Europe.

Repairs of equipment during the warranty period are carried out by the Guarantor’s Central Service Center (CSC) or other authorized service centers appointed by the guarantor.

In the event of detecting a defect or damage to the equipment during the warranty period, it will be removed free of charge within 14 working days from the date the equipment is delivered to the Central Service Center (CSC) or another Authorized Service Point indicated by the Guarantor. The warranty period is extended by the time the equipment stays at the Service Point.

The equipment for repair should be delivered to the Service Point in its original factory packaging. If the complete packaging is missing, the risk of damage during transportation is borne by the complainant.
The claimed product is collected from the customer through a courier after prior written notification of the complaint via the contact form on the website www.engwe.eu/contact or the email address service@engwe.eu.

The condition for accepting the device for warranty repair is the provision by the complainant of:

a legibly and correctly filled-in warranty card (without deletions and amendments, with the name, model of the product and its serial number, if it has one, with the seller’s signature, stamp, and purchase date, if such a card was sent with the product, for products that do not have a warranty card the document confirming the purchase and date is a receipt or invoice),
proof of purchase copy/original/email confirmation printout,
the claimed product (without accessories) with the manufacturer’s seals intact (if applicable to the claimed product).
The Service Point may refuse to perform warranty repair in the case of discrepancies in the data in the documents and on the equipment, violation of seals, serial number discrepancies, or software changes made by unauthorized persons.

The warranty does not cover equipment: used contrary to the operating instructions provided with the equipment, damaged by external factors (mechanical damage, contamination, flooding, atmospheric phenomena, and other causes that cannot be covered by insurance),
altered or used contrary to its intended purpose damaged as a result of improper use or incorrect installation,
the warranty does not include batteries and accumulators if the device has such.

The scope of the warranty does not include activities listed in the operating instructions and belonging to basic operational maintenance, e.g., equipment installation.

In the case of an unfounded complaint (after confirming the proper operation of the equipment by the seller or Service Point) or rejection of this warranty, the customer covers the costs of checking the equipment and the costs of transporting the device to and from the Service Point.

The Guarantor will not be liable for the timeliness of warranty services if their operation is disrupted by unforeseen circumstances of force majeure.

Apart from this printed warranty, there are no other explicit warranties, written or oral. All implied warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this warranty.

The warranty on sold consumer goods does not exclude, limit, or suspend the buyer’s rights arising from the provisions of the warranty for defects in the sold goods.

In accordance with Article 558 § 1 of the Civil Code, the Seller’s liability under the warranty for the Product towards the Customer who is not a consumer is limited to 12 months from the date of purchase.

In case of loss or destruction of the warranty card, duplicates will not be issued.

Products intended for assembly are warranted only if they are mounted in specialist service centers or service establishments, confirmed by proof of purchase of such service (invoice or receipt).

The Guarantor shortens the Warranty Period for Customers who are not Consumers to 12 months from the date of purchase of the Product.

What does the warranty on ENGWE electric bikes and scooters cover?
This warranty covers all defects of new ENGWE devices for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase and electrical parts (display, controller, motor, and charger), as well as manufacturing defects on an exchange basis.

However, the warranty for the battery is 6 months or 2000 km (whichever occurs first) with normal installation, use, service, and maintenance.

Only consumers who purchase this device directly from Us, in our engwe.pl store, or from our authorized ENGWE seller (business partner with whom we have a signed agreement) can obtain protection under this limited warranty.

This warranty covers only the first purchaser and is not transferable.

What does the limited warranty on ENGWE electric bikes and scooters not cover?
This limited warranty does not cover any problem caused by:

Commercial use, accident, abuse, neglect, shock, exposure to high temperature or humidity beyond the product specifications, improper installation, operation, maintenance, or modification.
Any misuse inconsistent with the instructions contained in the operating instructions
Failures caused by other equipment
This warranty becomes void if the product is returned with removed, damaged, or modified labels showing any changes (including unauthorized removal of any component or external cover).

This warranty is valid only in the place of first purchase. It does NOT apply to other distributors or entities.

ENGWE at no time covers the cost of domestic/international shipping under warranty.

This warranty is valid with the original proof of purchase from Our authorized seller.

It does not cover wearing parts of the equipment.
It does not cover parts with physical damage, incomplete/damaged cable connections.
It does not cover improper use, modifications, neglect, and the use of the bike or scooter in wet conditions.
It does not cover professional and rental use.
